Your Postini password is the same as your regular email password.

  3. How do I adjust my filters?

Go to http://login.postini.com/exec/login Once you have logged in, click on the "Junk Mail" tab. Click on "filter Categories" and check the boxes you wish to filter. Click save. After returning to the message center, click on "Filter Sensitivity." Here you can decide how aggressive Postini will be in filtering your email. Click save when finished. You may also click on "Approved Senders" or "Blocked Senders" to use filtering on an individual basis.

  4. How can I turn the filters off?

Login to your messange center and then click on the "Junk Mail" tab. Click the "OFF" button to turn the filters off.

  5. Why are my filters not working? Junk mail is still coming through.

EagleNet automaticaly turns on the Virus Scans, but leaves the level of junk mail filtering up to you. Make sure you have Junk Mail filtering turned on. See how to Adjust Filters.
Additionaly, make sure you do not have an alias email account as the Postini Message Center currently supports only your primary / parent account.

  6. Is Postini Virus Scan up-to-date?

Yes. Postini has preferential access to Trend Micro, a leading provider of anti-virus solutions with over 53% of gateway-scanning market share, and their pattern files so Postini is updated every 15 minutes for new virus definitions and files.

You can Adjust your filters to be more sensitive, but you can also help Postini keep its SPAM filtering up-to-date. Before you delete the message you can forward the message to Spam@Postini.com so that the message an be referenced in Postini's junk email database for future use.
